1. Acceptance

By using downswift.com and its sub-sites ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

2. The license we grant you

The Service is free for personal, non-commercial use. You may use it to retrieve publicly accessible media that you have a lawful right to access and save.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Download, share, or republish content you do not have the right to use (including copyrighted works without permission);
• Mass-automate, scrape, or hammer the API beyond reasonable personal use — automated callers must use the documented API key and respect rate limits;
• Use the Service to obtain private, restricted, or age-gated content, or to harass or impersonate others;
• Probe, reverse-engineer for competing resale, or overload the infrastructure.

Violations can lead to IP/API-key blocks without notice.

4. Service as-is

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Platforms change constantly, so extraction may fail, formats may disappear, and some content (private posts, region-locked media) may never work. We do not guarantee uptime.

5. No storage

DownSwift streams media from the source platforms' public CDNs. We do not host, store, or own any downloaded content. Rights and removal of content stay with the source platform and its creators.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DownSwift is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including copyright claims made against you by third parties for content you download.

7. Changes & termination

We may update these terms or discontinue any feature at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law in the operator's jurisdiction; disputes are subject to its exclusive courts.
