🎵 SAVETIK ALTERNATIVE

SaveTik Alternative - Nine Platforms, Measured Transparently

SaveTik covers TikTok and Douyin and publishes 31 language versions. One caveat before you read the table: savetik.co blocks automated access, so its figures come from a public archive snapshot dated 5 February 2026, not from a live measurement.

What DownSwift Adds

Three differences. Read the table's provenance note first — two of these rows depend on the archive snapshot.

🧩

Nine platforms instead of two

SaveTik covers TikTok and Douyin. DownSwift covers nine, adding Instagram, X, Facebook, Reddit, Pinterest, Threads and Xiaohongshu.

📲

Installable and cached

The archived SaveTik page serves a web app manifest but no service worker. DownSwift ships both, so it can be installed and its shell cached.

🔍

Figures you can re-check yourself

Every number on this page has a stated source and date. Where we could not measure something, we say so instead of estimating. You can reproduce all of it with curl.

Switching From SaveTik in Three Steps

1

Copy the TikTok link

The URL formats are the same, so nothing needs converting.

2

Paste it above

DownSwift resolves the link and returns the available streams.

3

Choose and save

Pick a resolution, or the audio-only stream.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

For TikTok and Douyin specifically, the two are comparable and there is little reason to move. The case for switching is the other seven platforms DownSwift covers on the same page.

Because savetik.co returns an HTTP 403 challenge page to automated requests, so we cannot measure it directly. Rather than guess, we measured a public archive capture dated 5 February 2026 and labelled it. Some of those figures may have changed since.

Not in the snapshot we measured. It serves a web app manifest, so it is installable, but there was no service worker registration in the archived page. This is the figure most likely to have changed since February 2026.

No. DownSwift has no sign-up, no login and no download history.

Request each site's homepage with curl and count the hreflang attributes, the application/ld+json blocks and the rel="manifest" link. That is exactly how this table was built.

This page is different from the others on this site, and it is worth being upfront about why. savetik.co returns an HTTP 403 challenge to automated requests, so we could not measure it live the way we measured the other competitors.

Rather than estimate and present the estimate as fact, the SaveTik figures below come from a public archive snapshot dated 5 February 2026. That is roughly seven months old. Treat the numbers as indicative, and treat the qualitative parts of this page as the more reliable section.

What SaveTik does well

It publishes 31 language versions, according to the snapshot. That is more than three times our ten, and for a non-English speaker it is the difference that matters most.

Its structured data is reasonable. The snapshot carried three blocks including BreadcrumbList and a local-business entity, so it is eligible for breadcrumb results.

It is installable. A web app manifest was present, so it can be added to a home screen.

Where DownSwift differs

Platform coverage: two against nine. SaveTik is a TikTok and Douyin tool. DownSwift adds Instagram, X, Facebook, Reddit, Pinterest, Threads and Xiaohongshu.

Offline behaviour: the snapshot showed a manifest but no service worker, so the shell was not cached. DownSwift ships both.

Measurability: this one is unusual but real. We can be measured with a single curl command, which is how every number on this site was produced. If you are choosing between tools and you care about verifiability, that is a difference you can check in thirty seconds.

When SaveTik is the better choice

If your language is one of the 31 SaveTik publishes and it is not one of our ten, they will serve you better. Our ten are English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Tagalog, Malay, Japanese, Chinese and German.

If you only download TikTok and Douyin, both work and the honest answer is that switching buys you very little.

How to verify any downloader, including us

Comparison pages ask you to trust a table. You should not, at least not without checking. Here is how this one was built, and you can repeat all of it on any site in about a minute.

Fetch the homepage and count three things: how many hreflang attributes appear (that is the published-language count), how many application/ld+json blocks appear (that is the rich-result markup), and whether a rel="manifest" link is present (that is installability). Then fetch /sitemap.xml and count the <loc> entries.

All four checks are objective, and none of them require trusting a comparison page — including this one. We would rather you ran them than took our word for it. And where a site blocks automated requests, as SaveTik does, the honest response is to say so, which is why that caveat is at the top of this page rather than in a footnote.

How these figures were produced

DownSwift is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of the services compared on this page. Their names are used only to identify them, and all trademarks belong to their owners.

Every figure in the table above was measured by requesting both sites' homepages on 23 September 2026 and counting the relevant attributes directly. Both columns come from the same kind of page, so the two are directly comparable rather than merely adjacent. None of it came from a third-party estimate. Where a service blocks automated requests, this page says so and names the source and date of the figures it uses instead of guessing.

You do not have to take our word for any of it. Fetch the competitor's homepage and count the hreflang attributes for the language figure, count the application/ld+json blocks for the rich-result markup, check for a rel="manifest" link for installability, and fetch /sitemap.xml for the declared-page count. All four checks are objective and take about a minute. Run the same four checks against downswift.com for our own column — our language count lives on the homepage, not here, because these comparison pages are English-only and declare no hreflang at all.
